written by Kim Mi-hye and illustrated by Ko Hye-jin
One day Seol Ha loses her hat in the wind. It flies into a garden where Seol Ha meets Bunny Poet. Bunny Poet shows Seol Ha his poem tree and all the words hanging from it that inspire his poems. Bunny Poet then teaches Seol Ha all about how to make random words into poetry.
This book teaches children about the origins of poetry as well as poetic devices such as metaphors, similes and rhythm and encourages them to try writing some themselves!
Ko Hye-jin was selected for ‘the best illustrator of the year at the 2016 Bologna Children’s Book Fair.’
