S.B.RIGHTS AGENCY is an international foreign rights agency specialising in illustrated children’s books from around the world. We represent independent publishing houses who always dreamt of seeing their books translated into foreign languages. More than just selling rights, our interest is in helping publishers build and grow a list with international potential. At S.B.RIGHTS AGENCY we think forward and outside the box!

I have always loved children’s books and their deceptive simplicity. After my M.A. in children’s literature I started working for Walker Books Ltd in London where I gained extensive knowledge in the field. I vividly remember my interview – it was the day of the solar eclipse on 11th August 1999 (a sign of great things to come!). During those years I worked both in foreign rights and export sales developing global business through my attendance at key book fairs and international trips. In recent years I have participated in several fellowships and have presented the importance of selling rights from small markets internationally. 

In 2011, I started to sell and develop the rights list for Kinneret Zmora Bitan Dvir Publishing. The success and thrill of bringing a treasure of Hebrew children’s books to the international scene made me realise that I could help other publishers from many markets overcome language and culture barriers. S.B.Rights Agency was founded in June 2014 with the view of bringing more treasures from around the world to publishers’ attention. I like to see myself as a matchmaker – someone who can match the right book with the right publishing house.
